For my front cover image I plan for my model to wear a sheer pink blouse, with distressed denim shorts, the blouse reflects the current trend and the shorts a icon of rebellion and rocker chic. I have choosen this look as it shows the feminine side of the cover model with the delicate sheer pink blouse contrasting with the denim shorts which reflect her age and a streak of rebellion/ indie style relating to the genre of indie pop music.
For the contents page and double page spread the model will be wearing a tea party dress, its femnine, on trend and bold with a retro tone from the 1940's its glamourous just like the pin-up girls from the era, the model will wear biker boots to add a modern twist/edge. I have used the tea dress to again show the glamorous side of the cover model however this look has been modernised reflecting the progress of females from the 1940's as the stereotypical home makers to the present noughties were women now have a greater sense of equality. This relates to the success of the cover model.
