Image analysis: Yasmin

In this image of Yasmin, the background is a natural setting, of what looks like a city, however the background is not in focus enough to make it out properly this has been done so the main focus is Yasmin. Her hair is styled in big natural waves, her eye-makeup is dark and heavy, drawing attention to her eyes instantly it is also similar to that of Amy Winehouse. We cannot see her outfit however we can see her chunky retro gold watch and necklace. She isn’t looking directly into the camera however she isn’t smiling her face looks thoughtful and distant.

In Yasmin's music Video on my own she is presented in the opening scene wearing a adventrous combination of clothes she is wearing a faux fur hat, a pencil skirt a crop top and a mixture of costume jewellery, this links back to the image where she has her own take on a vintage look. The false lashes add an element of glamour and her tattos signify a rebellion and her artistic side. The camera follows her through some of the urban london landmarks. Her lyrics  reflect her determination and ambition.

Like in Yasmin's video I want the cover model to be presented as a real person, I want the cover model to be shot in realistic urban and rural locations so that the target audience is able to identify with them. Furthermore I want the cover model to portray an inspiring message to the target audience that they are able to attain their goals.
