In this image of Yasmin, the background is a natural setting, of what looks like a city, however the background is not in focus enough to make it out properly this has been done so the main focus is Yasmin. Her hair is styled in big natural waves, her eye-makeup is dark and heavy, drawing attention to her eyes instantly it is also similar to that of Amy Winehouse. We cannot see her outfit however we can see her chunky retro gold watch and necklace. She isn’t looking directly into the camera however she isn’t smiling her face looks thoughtful and distant.
In this video of lana del rey she is presented as glamorous but destructive and rebellious as she shows a glimpse of a relationship, the video is dramatic and shows the destruction of her relationship through the metaphor of her death.
In my own image of the cover model I want to reflect the the glamourous and femnine nature like Lana del Rey aswell as the reflecting the dramas she faces.
